How to transfer balance on NTC

Official transfer is NTC prepaid GSM to NTC prepaid GSM. There is no published path from NTC to Ncell.

After you have an SCODE, dial

*422*SecurityCode*DestinationNumber*Amount#

SMS SCODE to 1415 first.

Before you dial

  1. Both lines are NTC prepaid GSM.
  2. You have a security code (SMS SCODE to 1415).
  3. Amount is between Rs. 10 and Rs. 500.
  4. You have not already made 20 transfers today.

The same official page also lists Transfer Balance in the Nepal Telecom App, and Self-Care on the NTC website. It does not list a charge; this site therefore does not invent one.

What this page will not do

It will not document NTC → Ncell transfer, an SMS path that skips SCODE, or error codes that are not on the official pages.

Can the App skip SCODE?

The official USSD path requires the security code. This page does not claim the App removes that requirement unless NTC writes it.

Is there a fee?

The official transfer page lists allowed amounts and a daily cap. It does not list a service charge. We repeat that silence rather than guessing zero forever.
